As the Director of Club Operations, Amy Law has rapidly befriended the community as a whole. From Friday morning coffees on the back porch of the Residents Club to volunteer events, festivals, outdoor movies and concerts, Amy and her staff reach out to residents to ensure that their first days and months in Westhaven are full of activity options for all ages. Most residents hardly have time to unpack boxes as there is always something fun to do in the neighborhood.
Amy orchestrates new groups within the community, such as welcome committees, preservation societies and book clubs. She creates an annual calendar that offers:
- Trips to downtown Nashville’s Ryman Theater
- Luncheons for ladies in downtown Franklin
- Continuing education classes via the “Westhaven School of Enrichment”
- Volunteering opportunities for events such as the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, the spring Courtyard Garden Tour and the Westhaven 5K & Life is good® Watermelon Festival
- Fitness classes, swim lessons, pool parties, children's camps and art classes
Amy is another example of how Southern Land Company puts a human touch on its community experience. She is there to help everyone from children, teens, stay-at-home-moms, working moms, families and empty nesters connect with their neighbors and embrace their new community. In short, Amy is at Westhaven for you.
